We are a custom manufacturer that also has a retail line so custom work is our specialty. Our products can be customized by the general public for a fee, custom items are only available to trade members.
All sales are final. However, Hammers and Heels can provide store credit toward another purchase of any product eligible for a return that is received back by Hammers and Heels within fifteen (15) days of delivery to customer. Prior authorization and customer signature of Return Terms is required prior to returning the fixture otherwise customer is ineligible for return. Returned fixtures must not have been installed and must be in their original condition and packaging. A minimum 20% restocking fee will apply to such returned fixtures. Fixtures that have been installed, custom fixtures, chandeliers, and furniture may not be returned for refund or credit. Credits on account must be used within 24 months of issue. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Any returned package damage or loss claims are the responsibility of the customer to get reimbursed and resulting costs of damage or loss will be deducted from the refund. More information here.
Can you schedule my order to arrive by a certain date?

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
In stock items are shipped within 3 business days. Please contact us prior to ordering if you have a specific deadline. Our lead times for items not in stock is 2-12 weeks. More information here.

We use absolute care, caution, and expertise to create each individual piece locally by hand. Each piece is then inspected and tested in house for quality and safety. We offer UL listing services simply click the "UL Listed" box next to the product.
Each and every home is unique, to embrace that our lighting can be adjusted on site (unless UL Listed).
As a rule of thumb the bottom of your light fixture should hang at least 8' from the floor for walk-through areas and typically 30" above a dining table.
- Cord: 8' Can be cut to length on site (unless UL Listed). Sufficient for ceilings up to 16' or 18' for over table applications.
- Downrod: 12" maximum downrod comprised of three 4" pieces which can be adjusted on site (unless UL Listed).

We strongly suggest you use masking tape to outline the size of each piece you are considering. We are also happy to help with quantity, size, finish, etc for your space simply contact us
You may use CFL, LED, or incandescent bulbs. Do not use bulbs not intended for lighting fixtures such as appliance bulbs, heat lamps, etc.
Our fixtures can be safely installed outside of the United States. The fixture must be hardwired (not plug-in). Our fixtures can and only use E26 or G9 bulbs (see product listing for base type) which may be purchased through our store for the life of the fixture.
